PLEASE REVIEW OUR GENERAL INFORMATION AND POLICIES BELOW

A note to our guests. We are a B&B consisting of four floors, STAIRS ONLY WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR or HOTEL PORTER.  For the safety of our staff members, the transporting of luggage weighing over 25lbs is the responsibility of luggage owners. We will help when and if we are available.

CHILDREN :
We welcome children 5 years and older at La Reserve B&B. We cannot under any circumstances accommodate infants.

SMOKE-FREE PROPERTY:  Our property is a SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT. 

CANCELLATION POLICIES:
La Reserve Management is aware that unforeseen circumstances can cause travel plans to be changed or canceled unexpectedly. Consequently, if travel plans change, it is important that we receive sufficient advanced notice of cancellation.

BOOKING.COM/AGODA, EXPEDIA/HOTELS.COM/ TRIVAGO AND ANY OTHER AFFILIATED BOOKING ENGINE -

WE REQUIRE YOU PROVIDE FULL BILLING ADDRESS, INCLUSIVE OF STREET, CITY, STATE, COUNTRY, PROVINCE, ZIP CODE THAT  MATCHES THE CREDIT CARD PROVIDED WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION. 

NOTE: ALL RESERVATIONS MADE THROUGH BOOKING.COM, OR ANY BOOKING AGENT MUST CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION THROUGH THOSE SITES.

7 DAY NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO CANCEL In the event we receive LESS than the above specified required cancellation notice, guests will be charged for the entire reservation amount.

EXTENDED STAYS (5 nights or more) - A 14-Day Notice of Cancellation is required and 50% deposit is required at booking. In the event we receive LESS than the above specified required cancellation notice, guests will be charged in full for their reservation.

14-DAY CANCELLATION FOR MAJOR HOLIDAYS:
MAJOR HOLIDAYS  as follows: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, Labor Day weekend, Presidents Day weekend, Memorial Day weekend, and Independence Day and/or weekend. A 14-Day Notice of Cancellation is Required.  In the event we receive LESS than the above specified required cancellation notice, guests will be charged for the entire reservation amount.

GROUP BOOKINGS:
Group bookings (must be direct booking with property) of 4 or more rooms - 2 night minimum, Friday & Saturday is required and 14-Day Notice of Cancellation is required.  In the event we receive LESS than the above specified required cancellation notice, guests will be charged in full for each reservation. We ask that you please call and speak with the manager in advance for group information for confirmation. 

GRADUATION WEEK (TBD for 2025) - A 14-Day NOTICE OF CANCELLATION IS REQUIRED. In the event we receive LESS than the above specified required cancellation notice, guests will be charged in full for their reservation.

INCLEMENT WEATHER- Due to the fact that we have a small number of rooms and are privately owned we will be unable to refund monies due to cancellations based on inconvenient travel weather. We recommend that our guests take out travellers insurance to protect you against cancelations due to mother nature.

OTHER CANCELLATION POLICIES:

NO SHOW - A no show reservation will be charged the full amount of the existing reservation.

EARLY DEPARTURE - Falls within our cancellation policy and in the event we receive LESS than the specified required cancellation notice, you will be charged in full for the entire reservation for each room reserved.

RESERVATIONS MADE WITHIN 72-HOURS OF CHECK-IN - All reservations made WITHIN the 72-hour require a full payment at the time the reservation is made. These reservations are also non cancelable.

WEDDING & SPECIAL GROUP BOOKINGS : All wedding and group bookings are bound by a negotiated contract. Please call the hotel prior to making reservations on our website for wedding parties. We have the right to remove any reservations that have not made prior arrangements with us in advance. Thank you.

ESCAPE PACKAGES: Package requests and package cancellations require a 7 days advance notice prior to reservation.  If cancellation is within 7 days of your reservation, there will be a charge of $45.

PAYMENT :
A valid credit card is required to be on file for all reservations. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The credit card on file will be preauthorized for the amount of $25, the total cost of reservation will be due at check-in. 

REGULAR CHECK-IN: 3:00PM TO 8:00PM DAILY

CHECK OUT: 11:00AM . CHECK during our OFF PEAK SEASON MONTHS, (December, January & February) when we are slower, Late stay may be requested at an additional fee of $50.00. This would allow you to stay until 12pm with a prompt departure at this time. After this time you will be charged for an additional days stay. 

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: AFTER 8:00PM
Guests arriving in Philadelphia after 8:00PM (planned or unplanned) are welcome to arrive at La Reserve after hours. Guests arriving after 8:00PM will be able to easily let themselves into the house and their room by using the instructions provided in the "After Hour Instructions" email and the Welcome Letter that will be left at the Front Desk. The guest welcome letter will provide directions to the guest room. You MUST contact the front desk in advance to receive instructions for entry prior to your arrival and before 3:00PM, Thank you.

KEYLESS ACCESS AND ENTRY SECURITY SYSTEM:
La Reserve features a convenient, user friendly Key-less Entry Security System which eliminates the need for keys and key cards. Our front door features a key less digital security lock to make it easy for guests to come and go without the need for a key or a key card. To enter the house, just press your palm on the keypad for the digits to appear, enter the four numbers of your private access code, then press the checkmark symbol . If you make an error several times, the red light flashes, wait a couple minutes until the red light stops flashing and try again.

To help maintain the security of all our guests, please be sure the door is closed, locked and secured each time you leave and enter the house. And again, the Private Access Code is NOT be shared with anyone.

PERSONAL EFFECTS:
While staying at La Reserve please note we cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. Although we are confident in our security measures, it must be realized that we are in the city, and therefore cannot be held accountable for everyone’s personal effects. Please take the precautions you deem necessary.

GUESTS PERSONAL PACKAGES: WE DO NOT ACCEPT guest personal packages delivered to our property. There is a nearby Walgreen's at 18th & South very close to our property, that accepts Fed Ex packages. Their address is: 1800 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19146

PET POLICY: We only accept service dogs. 

SERVICE DOGS: La Reserve welcomes guests with disabilities who have service dogs as part of our inclusive policy. The Rittenhouse & Saratoga Suites located on the ground floor in our 1806 building are the designated rooms that can accommodate you and your service dog. We request documentation certifying your service dog and advance notice. This is an additional $50 service fee. 

PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME!
This is our most important policy. La Reserve is a grand, historical, 12-bedroom townhouse built in 1853. We are located on a peaceful historically preserved neighborhood right in Center City Philadelphia. We are located two blocks off Rittenhouse Square. A perfect location to walk to everything you need to have an amazing experience in beautiful Philadelphia. Come stay at our house and enjoy, relax and explore.
